Book direct for the best prices

We want you to book direct, so we aim to offer our best prices on our own website. If you find a lower price for the same stay elsewhere, we will match it, subject to the terms below.

The price comparison on our website

When you choose your dates, our booking bar compares our best direct rate with the best rate for the same stay among the standard public rates we supply to online travel agents (such as Booking.com and Expedia) through our booking system.

• The comparison uses the rates we send out to those sites. It does not look at third-party websites directly, so it cannot show any discounts, promotions or fees a third-party site applies after receiving our rate.
• Prices shown are for the dates and guests you entered and are subject to availability. The price confirmed when you book is the price that applies.

When we will match a lower price

If you find a lower price for the same room type, dates, number of guests, meal plan and cancellation conditions, on a third-party website that is open to the public, and we are able to verify it, we will match or beat it when you book direct with us. Please contact us before you book, with the details and a link or screenshot, so we can check it.

What is not covered

Price matching does not apply to:

• Member-only or private-sale prices, which are available only to people who have joined or signed in to a club, scheme or site (for example Secret Escapes), or loyalty and reward-scheme rates.
• Prices a third party works out itself after receiving our rate, such as promotions, discount codes, vouchers or cashback offered by a third-party site.
• Discounts that a third party funds in whole or in part, for example by giving up some of its own commission, so that the amount we would receive is higher than the price the guest sees. We cannot match a price where the third party is contributing to the reduction.
• Packages, bundles and prices that include other products or services.
• Prices that are not genuinely available to book, or that we are unable to verify.
